🚨 Real Madrid pull off free agent coup with Bernardo Silva swoop Real Madrid have announced the signing of Portuguese playmaker Bernardo Silva on a free transfer. The 31-year-old, who is currently at the World Cup with his country, left Manchester City a the end of last season following a trophy-laden, successful nine-year spell. Despite links to Barcelona, Juventus and others, Silva has signed a two-year deal at the Santiago Bernabéu which includes the option for a third season. The move will see him link up with compatriot José Mourinho in the dugout following his sensational return to Real. During his spell at City, the former Monaco midfielder won 20 major honours, including six Premier League titles and a solitary Champions League crown.
