Lincoln goalkeeper Pardington signs new deal
Lincoln City goalkeeper Jamie Pardington has signed a new two-year deal with the Championship club. The 25-year-old was coming to the end of his previous deal, having joined the Imps on a two-year contract after leaving Cheltenham Town in 2024. Pardington, who has had loan spells with non-league sides Peterborough Sports, Telford United, Oxford City and Kidderminster in the past two seasons, has made two first-team appearances for Lincoln - with both coming in the EFL Trophy. Lincoln's sporting director Jez George says Pardington will remain as the Imps' third choice keeper as the club returns to the second tier after a 65 year absence. "While Jamie could have left to pursue playing opportunities in non-league or to be a number two for a club in League One or League Two, we are really pleased that he has decided to stay," George told the club website.
