Roma fined by UEFA for breaching settlement parameters UEFA has released an update on the situation of the clubs included in the Settlement Agreement, including Roma. The document published by the European body reviews the financial results achieved by the monitored clubs over the last financial year. Regarding the Giallorossi club, the review covers the financial year ending in 2025 and the objectives set out in the agreement signed with UEFA. The statement released by UEFA states: “With regard to clubs still subject to a settlement agreement, AS Roma (ITA) slightly exceeded the interim target set for the financial year ending in 2025 and was fined €2 million. Having also recorded a squad cost-to-revenue ratio exceeding 70% for the calendar year 2025, the club was fined an additional €4 million.” Roma was therefore fined €2 million for failing to achieve the interim target set out in the agreement and a further €4 million fine linked to the squad cost-to-revenue ratio recorded in 2025, as reported by UEFA in its official statement.
