An agreement to extend the loan of the French attacking player, who arrived in Burgundy last winter, is reported to have been reached between the two clubs. Having returned to France last January following an unsuccessful loan spell at Al-Taawoun FC, Faivre has managed to get some playing time, despite fitness issues that forced him to miss several matches. Starting in seven of his 10 appearances for AJA, the former Olympique Lyonnais player has provided two assists. This was enough to make a positive impression on the club’s management, who had been hoping for several weeks to be able to keep the Asnières-sur-Seine native. This intention was confirmed by the arrival of Will Still on the Auxerre bench, replacing Christophe Pélissier, who in turn gave the green light to the idea of a further loan spell for the attacking midfielder.
