Barrow bring in veteran prop Singleton
Barrow Raiders have signed veteran prop Brad Singleton on a deal until the end of this season. Singleton was a free agent after leaving Castleford Tigers last month but he will now play for his hometown club. The 33-year-old was a Grand Final winner with Leeds Rhinos in 2015, and has played more than 300 games since his debut in 2011, the majority in Super League. "Me and Cresta [head coach Paul Crarey] have always had a great relationship, and with me and my family moving back home and me stepping away from Super League, it just felt right to finish here," Singleton told the club website. "Barrow means a lot to me. I love the community, I love what the club stands for, and I know what rugby means to this town." Barrow are third in the Championship with 12 wins from their 15 matches and play Dewsbury Rams at home on Saturday (18:00 BST).
