Monaco’s Caio Henrique subject of Ajax interest AS Monaco defender Caio Henrique (28) is the subject of interest from Eredivisie side Ajax Amsterdam, as per a report from  Foot Mercato . Last season, Henrique was the starting left-back for Monaco. The defender suffered injury issues towards the end of the campaign and, despite featuring in Brazil squads in recent months, subsequently missed out on a call-up for the FIFA World Cup. There is expected to be a change at the left-back position for Monaco this summer. Filipe Luis is set to be named manager and, concurrently, Nazinho is expected to arrive from Cercle Brugge. It comes amid doubts about the future of Kassoum Ouattara, linked with Besiktas, as well as Premier League clubs, as per a report from  Foot Mercato.  However, Henrique, who has just one year remaining on his contract with the Principality club could also depart.  Foot Mercato  understands that Ajax have a strong interest in the Brazilian.
