Canada midfielder Ismaël Koné stretchered off with serious injury The Canadian Men's National Team have been hit with a significant injury blow on Thursday during their group stage clash with Qatar. Already playing against 10-men, midfielder Ismaël Koné was seriously injured following a tackle by Assim Madibo just before the hour mark. Players on both teams were immediately distraught, and official broadcast commentary captured a range of emotions from all involved.
