Hansi Flick counting on 29-year-old Barcelona ace for next season despite Saudi attention Despite growing speculation linking Raphinha with a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia , Barcelona remain calm about the winger’s future and continue to view him as a key part of their plans for next season.  The Brazilian has attracted significant interest from the Saudi Pro League in recent months, but the feeling within the club is that he is fully committed to staying at Spotify Camp Nou. In fact, according to Mundo Deportivo , neither Barcelona nor head coach Hansi Flick have any concerns regarding the player’s situation.  While clubs from Saudi Arabia continue to monitor him closely , the expectation within the Catalan camp is that Raphinha will remain an important figure in the squad heading into the new campaign. Barcelona are relaxed Raphinha’s future has become a talking point once again after renewed interest from Saudi giants Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr.  The Brazilian has been on the radar of Saudi clubs for several transfer windows, with attempts to lure him away from Europe dating back to previous summers. Within Barcelona, there is confidence that the situation remains under control, as they know the player is happy in Catalonia and fully invested in Flick’s sporting project. Flick and Deco see Raphinha as untouchable The report states that both sporting director Deco and Flick are counting heavily on Raphinha for the 2026/27 campaign.  The belief is that Raphinha himself wants to continue his journey at Barcelona and is preparing for what would be his fifth season at the club.  Flick is counting on Raphinha. While Barcelona are planning with Raphinha in mind, football’s transfer market can change quickly, especially when Saudi clubs are involved.  There is a caveat That said, the outlet does mention that if Raphinha were to reconsider his future and become open to a move, Barcelona would only entertain negotiations if an exceptional offer arrived. Given his importance to Flick’s project and his value on the pitch, Barcelona would demand a massive transfer fee before even considering parting ways with one of their most influential attackers.  As things stand, though, all signs point towards Raphinha continuing at the club and remaining a central figure in the team’s ambitions for next season.
