New deal for Hornchurch boss as Dallison arrives
Hornchurch manager Daryl McMahon has signed a new three-year contract with the National League newcomers and will also become a part of the club's ownership group. McMahon, 42, has led the Urchins to two promotions in three seasons since taking charge in January 2024. "Since I joined, I have felt at home and have loved every minute of being at the club," former Ebbsfleet and Dagenham boss McMahon said . "After two promotions, it's an exciting time ahead for the football club on and off the pitch." McMahon signed his last contract with Hornchurch only 13 months ago, with a deal that ran until the summer of 2028. But chairman Alex Sharp revealed this latest agreement would extend that to 2029, saying McMahon had "agreed to be our manager for the next three years. "[He] will become part of the ownership group of the club, as we look to build a sustainable pathway to deliver EFL football for Hornchurch within the next five years. "Our success and upward trajectory under Daryl's leadership has been nothing short of remarkable and I am so pleased and proud that he has agreed to commit his future to the club." Hornchurch have also announced the signing of defender Tom Dallison.
