Real Madrid CEO personally contacts priority target’s camp over summer transfer Real Madrid’s pursuit of Michael Olise has moved beyond routine scouting and transfer monitoring.  The Spanish giants are now actively positioning themselves for what could become one of the biggest transfer battles in recent football history, with club executives working behind the scenes to test the feasibility of a blockbuster move. According to Jose Felix Diaz (h/t Madrid Zone ), Real Madrid CEO Jose Angel Sanchez has personally become involved in the operation, reaching out directly to the Bayern Munich winger’s camp.  The objective was to understand whether Olise would be open to wearing the white shirt before the club considers taking on the much bigger challenge of negotiating with Bayern. Real Madrid building the foundations Long before the latest reports emerged, Real Madrid had already identified Olise as one of the standout performers in European football. Sources close to the situation indicate that contacts were initiated months ago , allowing the club to build relationships and gather information while monitoring the winger’s development.  Those conversations have continued in the background, helping Madrid maintain a direct line of communication around a player viewed as a potential Galactico-level signing. The Real Madrid executive rarely steps into transfer discussions unless the target is considered strategically important.  This is why his decision to personally approach Olise’s representatives suggests the club views the French international as more than just another market opportunity. Bayern Munich remain the biggest obstacle While convincing the player appears to be an important part of the equation, the real challenge lies elsewhere. Bayern Munich have repeatedly communicated that Olise is not available for transfer .  The Bundesliga champions consider him a cornerstone of their project and have no desire to weaken the squad by selling one of their most influential stars. If Olise expresses a desire to explore a move, Bayern may be forced into a conversation they currently have little interest in having. Even then, any negotiations would enter unprecedented territory, as Bayern would demand a figure that surpasses the €222 million Paris Saint-Germain paid for Neymar in 2017, a transfer that still remains the most expensive in football history. Real Madrid are willing to push hard The most interesting aspect of this story is not Bayern’s resistance but Real Madrid’s persistence. The Los Blancos are not short of attacking talent, yet the club continues searching for players capable of defining an era rather than merely strengthening a squad, and Olise fits that profile. Whether Madrid can turn admiration into a formal offer remains uncertain. What is clear, however, is that this is no longer a transfer rumour driven by speculation alone.  When the club’s most powerful executives begin laying the groundwork personally, it usually signals that Real Madrid are preparing for something much bigger.
