The 39-year-old will move to Norfolk on 1 July from Brighton & Hove Albion, where he acted as the Women's Super League side's girls' academy manager. The Canaries parted ways with previous head coach Andy Cook in May despite winning promotion to the third tier. Northeast previously took Portsmouth to the third-tier title in 2015 during his three-year stint as head coach between 2013 to 2016. He also guided the side to the quarter-finals of the Women's FA Cup in 2014 for the club's best ever run in the competition. "I'm feeling very fortunate and very lucky to be here," Northeast told the club's website. "It's obviously a club steeped in great tradition, real rich heritage and a club with a women's programme that's definitely on the rise."
