Teti identified as Milan’s latest option for sporting director Milan’s hunt for a senior management team continues and the latest reports claim that Domenico Teti is the latest name under consideration for the role of sporting director in San Siro. Teti the latest name on Milan’s list of potential sporting directors Milan have recently appointed a new head coach in Ruben Amorim, but remain without a sporting director, technical director or CEO following the dismissals of Igli Tare, Geoffrey Moncada and Giorgio Furlani at the end of the 2025-26 season. Several names have been linked with a move to take over the sporting sector of Milan: First it was Ralf Rangnick , who has since made it clear that he will be continuing in his role as head coach of the Austria national team. Then came Markus Krösche, for whom the Rossoneri are still negotiating despite an initial rejection from Eintracht Frankfurt. The Rossoneri are reportedly studying potential Italian candidates for the sporting director role and Teti, formerly of Wolves and Al-Shabab is an option. The 49-year-old has been out of work since leaving his position as director of football at Wolves back in November. His reign lasted just 141 days. Teti was previously the sporting director for Al-Shabab in the Saudi Pro League between 2023 and 2024 and has also previously held directorship roles with APOEL Nicosia, Novara, Sampdoria and FC Lugano.
