It's coming, Fabrizio Romano confirms Liverpool transfer offer is on the way Fabrizio Romano has confirmed another offer is coming from Liverpool. What a time it is right now. A heatwave in Europe, the World Cup is in full flow and on top of that the transfer window is open. It does feel like things are a bit slow for now on the transfers front but it's just the calm before the storm. There are exciting times ahead for Liverpool fans, if the Reds can pull of what their plan is for the summer. One part of the jigsaw to rebuild Andoni Iraola's team has already been solved. A very fast Victor Munoz has been brought in to provide extra depth and a new dimension to Iraola's attack. It's going to be exciting to see Munoz, who is very highly rated and spent time at Barcelona's La Masia and Real Madrid's academy. He's on international duty with Spain and could play a key role off the bench for one of the favourites at the tournament. But Munoz as we said is just one part of a much larger picture. Richard Hughes will know full well that he needs to reinforce Liverpool in so many other areas of the pitch, and even in attack bringing in Munoz is not enough. Liverpool have just lost one of the greatest player who has ever played for them. Mo Salah will forever be an icon on The Kop. The club's Egyptian King, who conquered it all and achieved indelible things at Anfield. Salah's records are so otherworldly, at times it almost feels impossible that someone actually managed to accomplish it all. There will never be a player like Salah, you can bet your house on that. However, Hughes still has the unenvious task of needing to replace him. How on earth do you do that? Is there anyone in world football even capable of doing it? Looking around the market, there's just a few names really. Lamine Yamal and Michael Olise stand-out as right-wingers but neither will want to move to the Reds, nor will their clubs want to sell them. So, then Liverpool are back to other options. And below that Yamal and Olise tier, there is one clear candidate who stands out from the rest. Yan Diomande. He's the ultimate target. He makes the most sense. The way he drives at defenders and beats them for fun is a joy to watch. Diomande is a player who makes the game look easy. His speed and his one vs one ability are truly elite traits of his game and they are assets that would translate really well in Iraola's team. Diomande is clearly open to a move as well, and everything points towards this being the dream move for the Reds and the one they are trying to prioritise even while the World Cup is on. RB Leipzig have already turned down an offer for his services but Fabrizio Romano has just confirmed on his X that Liverpool are set to return to the table for the Ivorian. That means another offer is on the way. Whether it gets closer to RB Leipzig's desired price tag remains to be seen. But it's very obvious that Liverpool are extremely keen on bringing Diomande to Anfield.
