Real Madrid not prioritising a move for €80 million-rated midfield prodigy

Real Madrid not prioritising a move for €80 million-rated midfield prodigy Real Madrid have done considerable business in the market so far this summer, notably bringing in the likes of Bernardo Silva, Ibrahima Konate, Denzel Dumfries and Marc Cucurella. However, one area where Real Madrid are still yet to find reinforcement is central midfield. This is despite the fact that both Aurelien Tchouameni and Eduardo Camavinga are facing an uncertain future at the club. Not to mention, there is a pressing need to find someone who can control things in the middle and emerge as a long-term replacement for Toni Kroos. This has led Real Madrid to be linked with a move for Ayyoub Bouaddi. Bouaddi has made a strong impression in both Ligue 1 and in the ongoing FIFA World Cup and is being regarded as one of the best young midfielders playing in Europe. However, signing Bouaddi will not be cheap with Lille valuing the Moroccan international at around €80 million, reports The Athletic . This is a considerable figure for an 18-year-old, who is just coming on the back of his breakthrough campaign in Ligue 1 and still has a lot to prove. Bouaddi, though, has not disappointed at the highest level so far and has every technical ability in the book to dominate opposing midfield setups. This makes him an appealing target for Los Blancos . Real Madrid not prioritising Bouaddi move Bouaddi will cost a fortune. (Photo by Kevin C. The club are notably keen on acquiring the services of Michael Olise from Bayern Munich, although the Bavarians have shown no desire to offload their star man. Even for Bouaddi himself, the youngster prefers to join a club where he can play a prominent role in the starting eleven. This is something he might not enjoy at Real Madrid, which is already brimming with a slew of midfield talents.
