Hansi Flick’s priority target has already purchased two homes in Barcelona – report

Hansi Flick’s priority target has already purchased two homes in Barcelona – report The Julian Alvarez to Barcelona transfer story has taken another remarkable twist, with fresh reports claiming the Atletico Madrid striker already owns property in the city of Barcelona. Barcelona’s pursuit of Julian Alvarez has become one of the biggest stories of the summer transfer window, especially after the Argentine international openly expressed his desire to leave Atletico Madrid and pursue a new challenge.  Those comments have sparked outrage within the Metropolitano, leading Atletico Madrid to consider legal action against Barcelona over their alleged approach to the player. Now, another detail has emerged that is only likely to fuel speculation surrounding a potential Barcelona transfer. Castelldefels is a location with strong links to Barcelona players past and present.  Over the years, numerous Barça stars have chosen to live in the area because of its proximity to both the city and the club’s training facilities. The report presents the property purchases as further evidence that the Barcelona transfer project has been carefully planned for some time. Atletico Madrid are furious After the recent turn of events, the reaction from Atletico Madrid has understandably been far from calm. Alvarez wants to leave Atletico Madrid. (Photo by Eric Alonso/Getty Images) Club officials are understood to be deeply frustrated by the developments surrounding Alvarez and the growing links between the player and Barcelona. Part of that frustration centres on the role of Fernando Hidalgo, the player’s agent, who met with Deco , as well as Atletico’s belief that Barcelona have behaved inappropriately throughout the process. The Madrid-based club continue to insist that they have no intention of selling one of their most important players.  In fact, Atletico Madrid have repeatedly pointed towards Alvarez’s contract, which runs until 2030, as well as the striker’s massive €500 million release clause. Atletico believe Barcelona may have crossed the line by approaching a player who remains protected under FIFA regulations, which would be the basis of the argument in the complaint against the Blaugrana.
