Official | Diogo Sousa completes Strasbourg move Diogo Sousa (20) has signed for RC Strasbourg Alsace. The midfielder has signed a five-year deal with the Ligue 1 club, as confirmed on Wednesday.  Strasbourg currently find themeselves without a manager, but that is not delaying their preparations for the upcoming season. Gary O’Neil’s departure for Ipswich Town came as a surprise to many, even within the club. It is hoped that a successor will be announced within 10 days. RCSA return for pre-season training on 8th July. Sousa will be present upon the squad’s return. A product of Vitória’s academy, the young Portuguese Under-21 international midfielder (two caps) made his professional debut there in September 2025, before establishing himself as a key member of Gil Lameiras’ squad. Starting in 15 of his 28 appearances across all competitions (one goal, one assist), Sousa was instrumental not only in  Os Conquistadores ’ comfortable survival in Primeira Liga, but also in their League Cup victory.
