[Getty Images] Burnley forward Zeki Amdouni watched from the bench as Switzerland reached the first knockout phase of the World Cup with a 2-1 win over the co-hosts, Canada in Vancouver on Wednesday. The 25-year-old has featured in one game so far, coming on as a 79th-minute substitute in their second Group B game, a 1-1 draw with Qatar. Having also beaten Bosnia-Herzegovina 4-1, the victory over Canada means Switzerland finish as group winners. Amdouni has a total of 30 senior caps and has scored 11 goals with his team staying in Vancouver to face a side finishing third from one of six groups in the last 32.
