According to journalist Ramon Alvarez de Mon , the Spanish giants have already decided to bring the academy graduate back under their control before determining whether he will remain at the Santiago Bernabeu or become part of a bigger transfer operation this summer. Notably, the move would give Real Madrid complete control over one of their most valuable young assets after his impressive development in Serie A. Real Madrid preparing ambitious plan for Nico Paz The journalist claims that once the buy-back clause is triggered, Real Madrid will immediately present Como with the opportunity to re-sign Nico for around €60 million. As part of that proposal, Los Blancos would include a fresh buy-back clause worth approximately €80 million, allowing the club to retain long-term control over the player’s future if his development continues. In that scenario, the club would seek an even higher transfer fee from other interested teams without inserting another buy-back clause, with Inter Milan keen on the Argentine . The reasoning behind the strategy is that Real Madrid feel another season at Como would no longer provide the level of progression needed for the midfielder’s development. Mourinho could assess Nico before final decision Although a transfer remains one possibility, Nico could first receive an opportunity to impress during Real Madrid’s pre-season preparations under Jose Mourinho. As reported before, Real Madrid cannot immediately complete a permanent sale after exercising the buy-back clause because the contract includes a mandatory 12-week waiting period between the player’s return and any subsequent transfer. As a result, the club could explore alternative structures if they decide to part ways with Nico during the same transfer window.  On that note, one possible solution mentioned is a loan agreement containing a mandatory purchase option, allowing Real Madrid to comply with the contractual restrictions while still moving the player.
