England scrum-half Packer signs new Harlequins deal

Lucy Packer has extended her stay at The Stoop [Getty Images] England scrum-half and World Cup winner Lucy Packer has signed a new deal with Harlequins Women. The 26-year-old made her Quins debut in 2018 and passed 100 appearances for the club in February. She was part of the side that won the Allianz Premier15s title in 2021 and has 45 caps for England, helping them win the 2025 World Cup and, most recently, the 2026 Six Nations. Packer told the club's website : "Reaching 100 caps with my family and friends at The Stoop earlier this year was incredibly special and I'm excited to be running out in front of the home crowd again next season." Head coach Ross Chisholm said: "Lucy is one of the best scrum-halves in the game. We've seen her take her game to another level this season for club and country. "She is a key part of our squad and someone who brings calmness and precision to our game plan on pitch." "To have already reached 100 appearances for Harlequins at such a young age is testament to her dedication and commitment to the club". The length of the deal is undisclosed.
