Dennis Schmitt to be named manager of Monaco’s reserve side

Dennis Schmitt to be named manager of Monaco’s reserve side Dennis Schmitt, who had a stint as interim manager at Eintracht Frankfurt last season, is set to be named the manager of AS Monaco’s  Groupe Élite,  as per a report from  Onze Mondial. It was announced at the end of the season that Djimi Traoré would leave his role as manager of Monaco’s youth side. There is also a managerial change within the first team. Sébastien Pocognoli was relieved of his duties at the end of the season, like Traoré. His successor has not been named, but  Get French Football News  understands that Filipe Luis’ arrival will be confirmed at the start of next month.  An appointment for the  Groupe Élite  managerial role is also imminent. The role is set to be taken by 33-year-old German coach Schmitt. He will be joined by a former Monégasque in the form of Sofyane Cherfa, Onze Mondial  adds.
