Jude Bellingham hints at how Real Madrid can unlock his best form

Jude Bellingham hints at how Real Madrid can unlock his best form Despite his underwhelming last two years at Real Madrid, the English midfielder Jude Bellingham is seemingly back to his very best as he vies for the World Cup 2026 title with his national team. The Englishman has been one of the most influential players for his side, having won two MOTM awards, scored two goals and provided one assist in his three group stage games up to now. His influence was once again on display last night, as England beat Panama 2-0, with the Merengue midfielder breaking the deadlock with his goal in the 62 nd minute, before also providing the assist for Harry Kane’s second goal. He also talked to the media in the mixed zone after the game, and as Diario AS has noted, one of the questions he was asked was about the apparent contrast in his form with Real Madrid and with the English national team. In response, Bellingham clearly pointed to his position on the pitch: “I don’t think it’s a matter of confidence. At Real Madrid I’ve played in a different role, a bit deeper on the pitch. With England I’m a No. 10, or even a more advanced No. 8. It doesn’t matter to me where I play or what position I’m in. I always want to play well for my team.” These comments would definitely give the new Merengue coach, Jose Mourinho , a hint on how to get the best out of the Englishman. However, this could also cause him some problems, as in addition to Arda Guler and Brahim Diaz, who both played as attacking midfielders last season, he would also have Bernardo Silva vying for a spot in that position. It remains to be seen how the Real Madrid coach would approach Jude Bellingham next season, but for now, the English star is well and truly leading his national team to their dream of winning the World Cup. Hopefully, he would continue playing at this level for the entirety of the tournament, and come back to his club team with the same form for the next season.
