£15m Liverpool star told to pack his bags and exit Anfield

£15m Liverpool star told to pack his bags and exit Anfield Liverpool's first-team squad is going to look completely different by the time the 2026-27 season kicks off. Fenway Sports Group have already changed their manager and with players such as Mohamed Salah, Ibrahima Konate and A ndy Robertson all leaving for free , some new signings are definitely needed. Before the 2025-26 summer transfer window, a lot of Liverpool's players were getting on a bit with Alisson, Salah and Virgil van Dijk still among their best players and, while two of them will still be at Anfield for another season, it feels like the injection of young talent will massively benefit them. However, since so many of these sorts of players are unproven in the Premier League, every signing feels like a gamble which is why it's a tad surprising to see Liverpool already axing one of their players. Federico Chiesa has been told to find himself a new club Despite hardly playing for Liverpool, Federico Chiesa has become a cult-hero among the Reds' fanbase. The Italian has been played in several positions by the Anfield outfit when called upon but, since Arne Slot never really trusted him, the 28-year-old has never really been able to prove his worth. However, when he has featured, he's often put in a more than decent performance which is why most Liverpool fans think he deserves at least a chance to get into Andoni Iraola's plans, especially since the attacker market is rather inflated at the moment. But, a fresh update from Football Insider has seemingly put any chance of that to bed. "Liverpool have told winger Federico Chiesa to find a new club, sources have told Football Insider," they wrote. "The 28-year-old is available for between £10million-£15m after struggling to break into the starting XI. "The Italy international is currently weighing up offers as he looks to reignite his career. "Chiesa wants regular first-team minutes at his new club after struggling for game time for two years at Anfield." Andoni Iraola should try and keep Federico Chiesa around until just after Liverpool's pre-season ends Liverpool's summer pre-season is going to be one of their biggest ever. It's almost certainly going to be make or break for every player with Iraola looking at each player as if they're a new signing. This means that players such as Trey Nyoni and Harvey Elliott could be given an important role at Liverpool next term if they perform well. That's why, even if clubs such as J uventus, Como and Inter Milan all want to sign him , Chiesa should be kept around for a little while at least. He'd be able to fill the void left behind by Salah as he's a natural right-winger and, if he gets back to his best, he could easily become one of Liverpool's most important players. Of course, his injury history is a cause for concern but, if Liverpool and the attacker manage to get on top of that, he could become the best £10 million that anyone has ever spent. These are all just potential scenarios of course but, even if Chiesa can get over 15 goal contributions, he could play a vital part in Liverpool's race back to the top.
