Foyle left his role as head of recruitment at National League side Carlisle United to reunite with Vale boss Jon Brady, having worked together at Northampton Town. The 63-year-old was inducted into Vale's Hall of Fame this month, having scored 107 goals in 356 appearances in nine years at the club. After retirement in 2000, Foyle led the Valiants between 2004 and 2007 in a managerial career which also included stints at York City and Hereford United. Listen to Port Vale content on BBC Sounds
