Hourihane, 35, left Barnsley at the end of last season after 14 months in charge, leading them to a 15th-place finish in League One in his first managerial role. Rhys Owen previously worked with manager Russell Martin at Norwich City, Swansea City, Southampton and Rangers. As a result of these appointments, Leicester have announced the departures of first-team coach Adam Sadler and set-piece coach Andy Hughes. Leicester suffered a second successive relegation at the end of last season and will start the League One season away at newly promoted Notts County on Saturday, 15 August (12:30 BST). [BBC]
