Gigio Donnarumma was the only established player in that team, led by caretaker coach Silvio Baldini, so Daffara didn’t make his senior Azzurri debut either. He conceded 39 goals in 25 games with Avellino in 2025-26, helping the Campania-based side to finish in 8th.
