Wells-Morrison commits to Stones as COO departs
Jack Wells-Morrison previously played for Crystal Palace's youth teams [Getty Images] Wealdstone have re-signed midfielder Jack Wells-Morrison for a third spell. The 22-year-old first played for the Stones during the 2024-25 season, while on loan from Crystal Palace. He then re-joined the club in March on a deal until the end of last season, playing in May's FA Trophy final against Southend United at Wembley. Wealdstone have not disclosed the length of his deal, describing it as a "longer permanent contract". Meanwhile, chief operating officer (COO) Richard Hopwood has stepped down . The club is currently looking to recruit its first chief executive officer (CEO).
