Kimberley Smit leaves Glasgow City after two seasons

[SNS] Kimberley Smit will "always be proud" of representing Glasgow City after moving on from the SWPL club after two years. The Dutch defender, 26, made 75 City appearances and scored five goals, winning the SWPL Cup earlier this year. "Thank you, Glasgow City," said Smit. "After two incredible years, it's time for me to say goodbye. I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone at the club who made my time here so special - my team-mates, coaches, staff and everyone behind the scenes. "A special thank you to the fans for your incredible support throughout my time at the club. "I'll always be proud to have been part of such a special club."
