The 30-year-old made 96 league appearances for the Addicks and helped them win promotion to the Championship via the play-offs in 2025. Gillesphey, who started his career with Newcastle, also won the League One title during his time with Plymouth. "He is a very good defender with excellent ability in possession and his attributes will help us progress, and he was very determined to join us," boss Graham Alexander told the club website.
