[Getty Images] Altrincham have signed forward Kristian Dennis and goalkeeper Owen Evans. Dennis, 36, joins having left Tranmere Rovers, where he played for three seasons in League Two. Evans, 29, moves from League Two Barnet and has made more than 150 EFL appearances in his career. Dennis said: "I'm looking forward to starting pre-season training, getting to know the lads and the coaching staff and gearing up for the new season. "It's great to be here and I'm looking forward to playing in front of the fans. The season can't start soon enough." Their arrivals make it six summer signings for Alty boss Neil Gibson so far, and he says he has watched Evans over the past 10 years. Gibson said: "He's become an excellent senior goalkeeper after being a highly regarded youngster at Wigan Athletic and playing for Wales Under-21s. "He sets really high standards, has got a wealth of experience at National League level and was heavily involved in Barnet winning promotion to the EFL in 2024/25."
