It has been mentioned that the talks between the Mancunian club and the talented teenager over a professional contract have stalled as top clubs from England and Europe look to sign him this summer. Heskey’s Impressive Rise In English Football Heskey came through the youth ranks of Man City and did well to break into their first team last season. The 18-year-old has made one senior appearance for the Mancunian club thus far. The English talent is currently among the best young wingers in his homeland. Thus, it is no surprise that top English and European clubs are circling to land him this off-season. His current contract at the Etihad Stadium will expire this summer, so the Mancunian outfit would have no choice but to let him leave on a free transfer if they fail to agree on a professional contract with the gifted wide player. Heskey is primarily a left-winger but can also function as a right-sided wide player if told to do so by his manager. However, he is still quite inexperienced at the highest level and would need time to prove his worth in the Premier League .
