The Black Cats have announced that the English full-back has penned a new, two-year deal to stay at the Wearside club beyond this summer. The 20-year-old has made 63 appearances for them so far, scoring three times and earning eight assists in the process across various competitions. Jones is currently among the most gifted young full-backs in English football. Thus, Sunderland have done well to retain his services beyond this summer.
