Ipswich Town join Aston Villa in race to sign Toulouse’s Guillaume Restes Interest in Toulouse FC goalkeeper Guillaume Restes (21) is growing, according to a report from  L’Équipe . Restes is a highly-rated young goalkeeper, who has featured for France’s U21 side, without being capped for the senior side. The Frenchman has been linked with a move away from Toulouse FC for some time, and this summer could be the time when he eventually seals a transfer away from his boyhood club.   The Frenchman is valued at €20m (minimum) by Le TéFéCé,  who are open to a sale. In order to balance their books, there will have to be outgoings this summer. Charlie Cresswell, a target for Crystal Palace and Stade Rennais, is another potential candidate to leave.  Restes is notably a  “serious” target for Aston Villa, according to  The Athletic.  However,  L’Équipe  now understands that they now may face competition from Ipswich Town, who last season secured promotion back to the Premier League.
