The League Two outfit, who were steered away from relegation by Gavin Cowan last season, had Price on their books in 2024. He then moved to National League side Brackley, where he first worked with Cowan. Price, 33, made 115 appearances for Wolverhampton Wanderers between 2011 and 2018, during which time he played a key hand in helping them secure the League One title under Kenny Jackett. After leaving Wolves, Price also made 130 appearances for Colorado Rapids in MLS, before returning to England with Shrewsbury. "I'm over the moon to bring Pricey in. I was fortunate to work with him at Brackley and, to be honest, I was surprised we managed to get him there," Cowan said. "Having known Pricey's story, I knew he'd been fit for the last two years. If you'd have told me I'd get 20 games out of him at Brackley, I'd have been over the moon, but while he was with us he was unbelievable." Price is Shrewsbury's fifth addition of the summer, following the acquisitions of Byron Pendleton, Isaac Fletcher, Josh Davison and Arkell Jude-Boyd. Shrewsbury Town
