AFC Fylde sign ex-loanee Lewis on permanent deal
[Getty Images] AFC Fylde have signed full-back Adam Lewis on a permanent basis after spending time with the club on loan last season. The 26-year-old came through Liverpool's academy and had loan spells at Amiens, Plymouth Argyle and Newport County. He went on to join Morecambe and later Chesterfield, before he spent time with Fylde last term, making 11 appearances as they won the National League North title. "He came in last year and helped the club get over the line. He bought into everything we are about in terms of standards and the DNA of the football club, and we're lucky to have someone of his quality signed up for the season," head coach Craig Mahon said.
