Official | Laurent Abergel completes OGC Nice move OGC Nice have confirmed the arrival of Laurent Abergel (33). The midfielder has joined on a free transfer following the termination of his contract at FC Lorient. At Nice, Abergel will reunite with Olivier Pantaloni. The midfielder captained  Les Merlus  last season under the Corsican manager, who departed the Moustoir upon the expiry of his two-year deal.  Abergel’s contract was surprisingly terminated by mutual consent earlier this week, paving the way for him to join  Le Gym.  His arrival was confirmed on Thursday. He has signed a three-year deal with  Les Aiglons,  who last season narrowly flirted with relegation.  It has already been a summer of change at the Allianz Riviera. As well as the arrival of Pantaloni, who has replaced Claude Puel, sporting director Florian Maurice also departed upon the conclusion of the campaign. He was replaced by Roger Ricort.
