According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio , the Serie A outfit are closely monitoring the Real Madrid youngster in a bid to sign promising players capable of strengthening their long-term project. The Victor Valdepenas transfer situation has attracted increasing attention in recent months, with several European clubs keeping tabs on the 19-year-old defender ahead of the summer window. Bologna now appear determined to enter the race for one of La Fabrica’s most exciting defensive talents. Bologna, on that note, view the move as an opportunity to secure a player with considerable upside, even though Real Madrid have yet to indicate any willingness to negotiate over the youngster’s future. The club has not established a transfer formula, valuation or conditions for a possible departure, suggesting that Los Blancos remain committed to retaining the defender. Valdepenas attracting interest across Europe It is to be noted that the Bologna interest is not an isolated case. In fact, the Real Madrid academy defender has generated attention from several clubs across Europe in recent months, with Earlier reports indicating that Eintracht Frankfurt had intensified efforts , although those discussions never progressed into a concrete deal. Valdepenas has been part of the Real Madrid setup since 2018 after arriving from Rayo Vallecano’s academy. His progress was rewarded in December when he made his senior debut for Real Madrid against Deportivo Alaves. After recognising his potential, the club subsequently moved to renew his contract until 2029.
