Lens reach agreement with Gift Links, but face challenge in completing deal According to a report from Foot Mercato , RC Lens want to secure the signing of Gift Links (27) from the Danish side Aarhus Gymnastikforening.  The French outlet writes that Lens are pushing hard for the left wing-back and that the interest is mutual, with an agreement already in place between the South African international (five caps between 2018 and 2021) and the French side. However, an agreement between Lens and Aarhus is not yet forthcoming. Links has reportedly told his current club of his desires, but they have not been persuaded, with the club keen to keep him for the UEFA Champions League preliminaries. Foot Mercato writes that a fresh offer from Lens for the defender was recently rejected.  Lens will be looking to strengthen the left side of their defence for the upcoming season, with Deiver Machado (32) having been sold during the January transfer window and his temporary replacement, Arthur Masuaku (32), returning to his parent club Sunderland following his short-term loan.  GFFN | Nick Hartland
