Left-back Iandolo signs new Colchester deal

The 28-year-old left-back has spent the past three seasons with the U's, making 96 appearances in all competitions and scoring three goals. He moved to north Essex in June 2023 after clocking up more than 150 games for Swindon Town. Iandolo's deal expired at the end of last season when Colchester finished 12th in League Two and the club have not disclosed the length of his new contract. Colchester have so far signed left-back Jake Leake from Oldham Athletic and defender Sean Raggett in the summer transfer window as they prepare for the new season which starts with a Carabao Cup first-round tie at home to Southampton on Saturday, 8 August (17:30 BST).
