Guernsey FC and Jersey Bulls get home ties in FA Cup

Many of Guernsey FC's side were part of the Guernsey FA team that beat Jersey in May's Muratti Vase final [BBC] Guernsey FC and Jersey Bulls have both been drawn at home in their opening ties for the 2026-27 FA Cup. Guernsey FC will host Isthmian League South East Division Crowborough Athletic in the extra preliminary round on Saturday, 8 August. Should they win that game they would travel to either Epsom and Ewell or Chipstead a fortnight later in the preliminary round. Meanwhile Jersey Bulls, who play in a division higher than Guernsey FC, have been given a bye into the preliminary round - they will host either Crawley Down Gatwick or Sheerwater at Springfield on 22 August. In the FA Trophy Bulls have a home tie against Isthmian League South Central rivals Hayes and Yeading United on 15 August in the preliminary round. Meanwhile Guernsey will travel to Southern Combination Premier rivals Newhaven in the first qualifying round on 15 August. It is the second successive season that both Channel Island clubs have entered the tournament. Guernsey were expelled from the FA Cup last season after fielding an ineligible player following an administration error. It came after 1-1 draw with Bedfont Sports in the extra preliminary round. Jersey Bulls reached the second qualifying round of the FA Cup last season. They lost out to eventual National League South champions Worthing in a replay after a 2-2 draw at Springfield.
