Leyton Orient sign Watford keeper Baxter
Leyton Orient have signed goalkeeper Nathan Baxter on a two-year deal from Championship club Watford for an undisclosed fee. The 27-year-old began in the Chelsea academy, and had a series of loan spells at Solihull Moors, Woking, Yeovil Town, Ross County, Accrington Stanley and Hull City. He made 28 appearances for the Tigers across two spells, before signing for Bolton Wanderers in summer 2023. He joined Watford last summer, making eight appearances, with seven in the Championship. "I have nearly signed for the gaffer a few times, so it's really nice that I can finally get the chance to work with him," Baxter told the club website. "I also worked with Paul Terry at Yeovil and he's a fantastic coach as well. "I want to play a key role in this dressing room, help some of the younger lads, help the team, and push the club forward. I want to be a part of something, and I really feel like it feels right."
