Boston sign midfielder Hammond after Forest exit
[Getty Images] Boston United have signed midfielder Ben Hammond on a two-year deal after he was released by Nottingham Forest. The 21-year-old was with the Reds for 13 years, working his way through the club's junior and youth teams before establishing himself as part of Forest's reserves. He failed to make a first-team appearance for Forest, but had featured in the English Football League Trophy for their Under-21 side. Hammond becomes Boston's 10th signing of a busy summer.
