Done deal: Venezia secure deal for 18-year-old Ale Gomes with Real Zaragoza Reports in Italy claim that newly-promoted Venezia have secured a deal with Real Zaragoza to sign teenage centre-back Ale Gomes from Real Zaragoza following their relegation to the Spanish third tier. Gomes all set for Venezia switch According to the latest updates from Gianluca Di Marzio , the 18-year-old defender will join Venezia in Serie A for a fee of €2m plus bonuses. The financial details have reportedly been agreed between the two clubs, and now all that is missing is for them to put their respective signatures on the necessary documents. Gomes is a Spain U18 youth international and made 13 appearances in the Spanish second division in 2025-26, plus two in the Copa del Rey and a further eight outings in the fourth tier with Zaragoza’s reserve side. He is one of several new faces set to join Venezia, who were promoted after winning the Serie B title at the end of the 2025-26 season. The Serie A newcomers have also secured deals for Arnel Bella-Kotchap, Toma Basic, Thorir Johann Helgason, Kornel Lisman , Lorenzo Berardi and Thierry Correia . Gianluca Di Marzio adds that Sparta Prague defender Albion Rrahmani is set to have a medical with Venezia at the beginning of next week.
