Photo by Michael Regan/Getty Images For Premier League According to Adam Leventhal and James McNicholas of The Athletic , “ Besiktas have agreed a €20million (£17.1m) deal with Arsenal to sign Leandro Trossard.” It is widely accepted that Arsenal will upgrade their left flank this summer, with the futures of Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli both in doubt and potentially set for an exit. According to The Athletic, it is Trossard who now has one foot out of the door, with the deal understood to be worth €18m plus €2m in add-ons. The 31-year-old scored eight goals and provided 11 assists last season, continuing the consistent output he has delivered since arriving in 2023 after Chelsea hijacked Arsenal’s deal for Mykhailo Mudryk . Arsenal spent the winter of 2022-23 pursuing Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk , agreeing personal terms and believing they were in pole position before Chelsea made a higher offer and completed an £88m transfer. Trossard went on to win the Premier League while Mudryk has been suspended from playing for four years for a doping offence. There is no word at the time of writing if Trossard will also be will to accept what Besiktas are offering. Photo by Alex Grimm/Getty Images
