Official I Strasbourg confirm signing of Göteborg’s Benjamin Brantlind RC Strasbourg Alsace officially announced on Saturday the signing of IFK Göteborg’s Benjamin Brantlind (17). The forward, who will celebrate his eighteenth birthday on 15th August, has signed a five-season contract – running until 2031 – with the Alsatian club, who paid €1m, plus €0.8m in bonuses, to secure his services. A professional since June 2024, the young Swedish Under-19 international (four caps, five goals) became a regular in IFK’s squad last September. Having made 12 appearances (four as a starter) in all competitions since the start of the season, Brandlind found the back of the net during his side’s victory over Örgryte last May. Following the arrivals of Portuguese midfielder Diogo Sousa (20) and Polish goalkeeper Milosz Piekutowski (20), the Scandinavian becomes Strasbourg’s third summer signing.
