Dybala not fully convinced by Roma offer, but extension still expected

Dybala not fully convinced by Roma offer, but extension still expected Paulo Dybala is reportedly not fully convinced by Roma’s contract offer, but is still expected to sign a new deal next week. Talks over the Argentine’s new contract at the Stadio Olimpico have continued in recent days, and according to Corriere dello Sport, the Giallorossi hope to put pen to paper on a new agreement at the beginning of next week. Dybala set to sign new Roma contract The Rome-based paper reports that Dybala is not entirely happy with Roma’s contract proposal, which includes a substantial pay cut and a one-year extension until June 2027. The club, however, has agreed to include an option to extend Dybala’s contract for an additional season, potentially keeping him until 2028. Matteo Moretto reported earlier this week that Dybala has already informed Boca that he’ll continue with Roma for at least one more season. According to CorSport, Dybala’s agent, lawyers and Roma directors are expected to finalise talks in the coming days. The two parties have yet to fix the final details, including bonuses, while Dybala will return to Rome in five days. Roma and Gian Piero Gasperini hope that, by then, Dybala has already signed a new deal.
