Jordan Henderson falls over wall, stretchered off with potential arm injury after England's win over Mexico
Veteran England midfielder Jordan Henderson has seemingly injured his wrist during celebrations for England’s 3-2 win over Mexico. The incident happened shortly after England sang Oasis’ “Wonderwall” with the Three Lions supporters. Afterwards, Henderson attempted to hop the wall behind the goal, but clipped his foot on the way down and fell on his face. He was then stretchered off the field. He received a yellow card in stoppage time after arguing with the referee and interfering with an England throw-in from the sideline. England captain Harry Kane was asked about Henderson in a post-match interview on the broadcast. “Hendo just fell over there, I think he’s okay, just something to do with his arm,” Kane said.
