Cerci scored 34 goals in 47 appearances for Hoffenheim and arrives as a versatile attacking option capable of playing across the front three. Her arrival gives Renée Slegers greater flexibility in attack, particularly in terms of substitutions and rotation, and should help make Arsenal less predictable than they were last season. Her final two seasons with Hoffenheim brought 16 goals in each campaign, while she also contributed nine assists last season. At international level, she has scored five goals in 20 appearances for Germany . “I’m very excited to be here – it’s a big honour to play for Arsenal and I can’t wait to start,” said Selina. “This is an opportunity to compete against and play alongside top players in one of the best leagues in the world.
