Fabrizio Romano has just given his “here we go” seal of approval to the latest PSG sale. The talk about a Kang-in Lee move to Atletico Madrid has been going on for some time, but it’s been a slow process getting it over the line. As we predicted, however, the end of South Korea’s World Cup allowed the move for the winger to proceed more quickly, and we’ve now reached the point where it’s a done deal. Lee set for La Liga return after successful spell in Paris Romano says that that it’s a “deal worth around €40m,” and we would imagine that’s largely (if not entirely) a payment up front. Lee is a top player and always did well at PSG, but after years of being a backup he’s clearly ready to be the main man somewhere, and it’s hard to begrudge him that. It’s not completed yet – “formal steps” still need to follow, but the deal is agreed both on personal terms and between the clubs for a transfer fee. In other news… PSG have also sold Goncalo Ramos to AC Milan, where he will hope to make a big impact linking up with new manager Ruben Amorim. Gabriel Moscardo’s future was a big question for this summer at PSG – but it looks like a solution has now been found which will allow him to continue his development.
