Monaco interested in OGC Nice’s Mohamed-Ali Cho
Monaco interested in OGC Nice’s Mohamed-Ali Cho Another striker has been added to AS Monaco’s shortlist. Lassine Sinayoko and Matthis Abline have been linked with a move to the Principality club, and L’Équipe now report that OGC Nice’s Mohamed-Ali Cho is also a target. Monaco are anticipating departures in the attacking department. Maghnes Akliouche is expected to leave and he has already been the subject of a rejected bid from Paris Saint-Germain. Having already agreed terms with the reigning European champions, they are expected to return with an improved bid. Folarin Balogun, who shone at the FIFA World Cup with the USMNT, is also heavily linked with an exit. To replace him, Abline has been considered. However, they have seen two bids rejected by FC Nantes, the last one worth €17m plus a further €3m in bonuses. Cho, who plays just 20km down the road at rivals Nice, has now emerged as another option. Whilst under contract with Le Gym until 2028, he could be allowed to leave this summer. Monaco could soon open talks to sign the forward. GFFN | Luke Entwistle
