TS: Vlahovic calls Juventus back and is willing to discuss a new contract again Wednesday’s reports claim that Dusan Vlahovic has personally been in contact with his former employers at Juventus and that the Serbian is willing to discuss a potential new contract again despite leaving the club as a free agent just last week. Besiktas remains Vlahovic’s only offer, calls Juventus back Vlahovic is not currently under contract with any club after seeing his deal with Juventus expire on June 30. The Bianconeri had tried for well over a year to get the Serbian to commit to a new deal, but the parties never came to an agreement, despite the talks that went on right the way through June. As things stand, there has not been an awful lot of interest in Vlahovic, despite his being available on a free transfer. There has been talk of an offer from Besiktas, but outlets in Italy suggest that the striker is not particularly keen on moving to Turkey at this stage of his career. But, the Besiktas approach appears to be Vlahovic’s only real option on the table. That is unless Juventus open up to bringing him back, of course. Wednesday’s reports from Tuttosport claim Vlahovic has personally called the Juventus management and that he has requested a meeting to discuss his potential return to the club. Vlahovic had been earning a reported €12m net salary on the final year of his deal in Turin in 2025-26, but Juventus want to slash that, potentially in half to a figure of around €6m per year. There is hope that following the appointment of Ricky Massara to the role of Chief Football Officer , that Juventus will have a new-found ‘openness’ to welcoming Vlahovic back. The Turin-based outlet notes that Vlahovic has not yet been back to the club’s training ground to clear out his locker.
